Public Security Courses

For the security professional

Over a 4 week course door supervisors learn the finer points of being nice in an effort to improve the standard of door supervisors. Many owners of security personnel companies have decided to use us to give them that little bit extra. Kris Tanaka and Paul Judd devised a syllabus on three levels specifically targeting door supervisors.

The first level, foundation, covers the ideal situation of ‘Talk and Walk’ strategies with police proven methods of restraint and control (an information pack is included in this course).
The second level, intermediate, deals with more aggressive clients still using set methods of restraint and
The third level, advanced, with multiple aggressive clients still using set methods of restraint as a team.

Each course is spread over 4 weeks with one hour sessions, which help with taking in the information received. It has been a success with the skills put to good use for the protection of clients and staff at various locations in and around Southampton. The courses are ongoing and it has been suggested that they be part of a training programme for all door supervisors training to achieve the required NVQ standard.

Although many different organisations seek our expertise, we have several business that regularly work with us and with whom we have established an on going and good working relationship. One of these organisations is Team Security led by Simon Pilkington. Simon and his team regularly send new people to attend our door supervisor courses.
